🌱 Discipline: Learning God’s Loving Way
Kids Kingdom Yeshua
Discipline is not about being mean or getting in trouble.
Discipline is about learning, growing, and becoming better with love. 💛
God uses discipline to teach us how to walk in the right direction—just like a loving parent helps their child learn what is right and wrong.
⸻
📖 What Does Discipline Mean?
Discipline means:
• Learning to listen
• Learning to obey
• Learning to make good choices
• Learning to do what is right, even when it’s hard
Bible Verse:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6
This verse reminds us that learning good habits early helps us follow God as we grow.
⸻
❤️ Discipline Comes From Love
God disciplines His children because He loves us.
Just like a parent corrects a child to keep them safe, God teaches us so we can live a good and joyful life.
Bible Verse:
“For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and chastises every son whom He receives.”
— Hebrews 12:6
This shows us that discipline is a sign of love, not anger.
⸻
🌟 Discipline Helps Us Grow
Discipline helps us:
• Be patient
• Be respectful
• Be responsible
• Make wise choices
Bible Verse:
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
— Hebrews 12:11
Even when discipline feels hard, God uses it to help us grow strong and peaceful inside.
⸻
🙏 Obeying Makes God Happy
When children listen and obey, it brings joy to God and to their parents.
Bible Verse:
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
— Ephesians 6:1
⸻
🌈 Remember
Discipline helps us become more like Yeshua—kind, loving, and obedient to God.
God teaches us because He wants the best for us.
💙 Prayer:
“God, help me listen, learn, and obey with a happy heart. Thank You for loving me and teaching me every day, in the name of Yeshua.”
