Gentleness means being kind, calm, and caring with others—even when we are upset or excited. Being gentle doesn’t mean being weak. It means we choose love, patience, and self-control, just like Yeshua (Jesus) showed us.
The Bible teaches us about gentleness as one of the fruits of the Spirit:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
— Galatians 5:22–23
Yeshua was gentle with children, kind to the hurting, and loving even to those who made mistakes. When we follow Him, we learn to use soft words, careful hands, and loving hearts.
🌈 What Does Gentleness Look Like?
• Speaking kindly instead of yelling
• Helping a friend who is sad
• Being careful with younger kids or animals
• Forgiving instead of getting angry
• Listening when someone else is talking
🧸 Everyday Example
If a friend takes your toy, gentleness means asking nicely instead of grabbing or shouting. If someone makes a mistake, gentleness means helping them learn instead of making fun of them.
💛 Gentleness Starts in the Heart
When we ask God to help us, He gives us a gentle heart that looks more like Yeshua every day.

✨ Reflection Questions for Kids

🙏 Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You for showing us gentleness through Yeshua. Please help us to use kind words, gentle actions, and loving hearts every day. Help us to treat others the way You treat us—with love and patience, in the name of Yeshua.
