🌟Kids Kingdom Yeshua Story: “The Bridge I Couldn’t See”
Teacher Sofia smiled at her class.
“Today,” she said, “we’re learning why trusting your parents is like trusting God.”
The kids leaned in.
👦 The Story of Mateo
Mateo loved adventures. One day, his family went hiking. His dad said:
“Stay close to me. The path gets tricky.”
Mateo nodded… but soon he saw butterflies and ran ahead.
Suddenly — CRACK!
The ground in front of him wasn’t solid — it was a broken wooden bridge over a deep dip.
Mateo froze. His legs shook.
“Dad… I can’t cross. I’m scared.”
His father walked calmly to him and said:
“I’ve crossed this before. Hold my hand. Trust me.”
Mateo couldn’t see how it would work. The boards looked weak. The gap looked big.
But he remembered something his mom always said at home:
📖 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” — Ephesians 6:1
So he took his dad’s hand.
Step by step…
Board by board…
They made it across safely.
On the other side, Mateo asked,
“Dad, how did you know it would hold?”
His father smiled:
“Because I could see what you couldn’t.”
✨ Teacher Sofia Looked at the Class
“That’s just like life,” she said.
Sometimes parents say:
• “Don’t go there.”
• “Wait.”
• “That’s not safe.”
• “Do your homework.”
Kids might think:
“But I don’t understand why!”
But God says:
📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
Parents are part of how God protects children.
❤️ Another Verse
📖 “Honor your father and mother… so that it may go well with you.” — Ephesians 6:2-3
Teacher Sofia explained:
“When you trust your parents, you’re learning how to trust God — even when you can’t see the bridge yet.”
👧 A Student Raised Her Hand
“So… parents see dangers we don’t?”
“Yes,” said the teacher.
“And just like Mateo’s dad, they want to guide you safely.”
🌈 Kids Kingdom Yeshua Lesson
Trusting parents = practicing trust in God.
Sometimes the path looks scary.
Sometimes the rules feel hard.
But love is behind the guidance ❤️
Because parents pray, think, and protect — just like God does for us.
