🐢✨ Kids Kingdom Yeshua Story: “The Slow Seed”

In Kids Kingdom Yeshua, there lived a boy named Eli. Eli was kind, funny, and full of energy…

…but he hated waiting.

He didn’t like waiting for:

• His turn in games

• Food to cook

• His birthday

• Or even for prayers to be answered

One day, Grandpa Mateo gave Eli a tiny seed.

“Plant this,” he said, “and take care of it.”

Eli smiled. “Great! I’ll have a tree tomorrow!”

Grandpa Mateo chuckled but said nothing.

🌱 The Waiting Begins

Eli planted the seed, watered it, and ran back the next morning.

Nothing.

He poked the dirt.

“Maybe it’s stuck.”

The next day — still nothing.

The third day — still just dirt.

Eli groaned. “This is the slowest seed EVER!”

😠 Losing Patience

On day four, Eli shouted,

“Why isn’t it growing?! I did everything right!”

Grandpa Mateo came and sat beside him.

“Some things grow fast,” he said gently.

“But the best things take time.”

He opened his Bible and read:

“Be patient… See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop.”

Grandpa Mateo explained:

“God made seeds grow slowly so their roots become strong.

If they grow too fast, they fall over.”

He looked at Eli.

“Patience is like roots for your heart. It makes you strong.”

A few days later…

A tiny green sprout popped out of the soil 🌱

Eli gasped. “IT’S ALIVE!”

He wanted it to grow faster… but this time he whispered,

“I’ll wait.”

Weeks passed. The plant grew tall. Then flowers bloomed 🌸

Eli smiled. “It was worth the wait.”
